Description of the wine Pinot Blanc 2021

The 2021 Pinot-Blanc is exclusively originating from the gravelly valley floor of Turckheim. The proportion of the grape varieties is therefore slightly different compared to previous vintages, the Pinot Blanc being now 60% of the blend and the Auxerrois only 40%. Pinot-Blanc has recently proven to be more adapted to the drier and warmer climate of this vineyard. The classic balance of this wine allowed for a fast fermentation in our classic old oak foudres and was kept on full lees until bottling.

Tasting notes

12/2022 : Bright pale yellow. Rich and powerful nose with white fruits (pear peach) aromas. There is a beautiful sense of ripeness of the grapes with aromas of honey and beeswax, citrus... Elegant palate with medium power but with good length and drinkability. Dry and structured mouthfeel with a silky finish. Ripe and very pleasant acidity. This is a delicate wine that has an attractiveness that will make it easily food friendly with a large selection of dishes that just need a classic dry medium power white wine !
